Chronicling the life and tragedy of the late Matthew Shepard, it’s a full circle modern-day oratorio that weaves passages from his personal journal, tales from Shepard’s parents, texts from Rumi, Hildegard von Bingen, and a variety of musical notes that transforms the tale of tragedy into one of hope, love, and social justice.
