The Story

It was a staple in every English class in middle and high school.

Everybody remembers Ponyboy Curtis, we went on an emotional rollercoaster of youth with him, and even identified with some of the struggles of the have-nots in a world of have-its. We dreamt about a better life with them, we walked the road of brutality, addiction, sorrow, and socio-economic struggles alongside them. We felt the story hit home on many levels.
